#1 Allie Quigley: Form Shooting

- All-time leading scorer for the Chicago Sky
- Scored over 2,000 points at DePaul University
- Took 5 years to find a full-time role with a team
- Has become one of the best shooters in the league

The Workout:

1. From 3 feet away
Hold the ball in your palm then rotate to your shooting pocket
One hand shot with good form
Make 10 middle, 10 baseline, 10 other baseline

2. From 5 feet away
Two hand shot with good form!
Make 10 middle, 10 baseline, 10 other baseline

3. From the elbow
Take one hard dribble right to shooting pocket
Set and shoot - make 5 from each elbow with dominant hand dribble then 5 from each elbow with non-dominant hand dribble

The Workout:

5-spot shooting (baseline, wing, point, wing, baseline)

1. Spin the ball to your spot
Square to the basket (1/4 turn)
Find your shooting stance and shoot

Make 1 shot from each spot
Repeat starting at the other baseline


2. Spin the ball out from the basket
Turn and square (1/2 turn) to the basket
Find your shooting stance and shoot

​Make 1 shot from each spot
Repeat starting at the other baseline

The Workout:

From 3 spots (top, wing, wing)
- Spin into a jump stop
- Show and take one dribble with outside hand
- 1-2 footwork into shooting stance and shoot
- Alternate direction of dribble
- Make 10 shots from each spot

The Workout:

Spin and land in a jump stop from the wing
Hit 5 shots from each side for each move

1. Crossover jumper - Push one dribble with the outside hand, crossover, one or two dribbles inside hand and shoot
2. Between the legs jumper - Push one dribble with the outside hand, go between the legs, one or two dribbles inside hand and shoot
3. Step back - Push two dribbles with outside hand, take one retreat dribble, balance and shoot
